Show your teeth: campaign against misguided healthcare policy
In 2022, Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach cut funding for dental services with the Financial Stabilisation Act (FinStG). This is despite the fact that the prevention-orientated focus in dentistry has meant that the proportion of total statutory health insurance expenditure on contracted dental care has been falling continuously for years. These funding cuts are having a particularly negative impact on the newly introduced periodontitis treatment programme.
We worked with the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Dentists (KZBV) in developing the cross-media campaign “Zähne zeigen” , or “show us your teeth”, and rolled it out to over 40,000 dental practices across Germany. The holistic marketing package consists of a campaign website, content for communication via social media and advertising materials for dental practices.
